hello everyone! a week from Monday, Felipe and I will be leaving from Florence,
Oregon to begin our 3 month bike trip across the country. with our portable
emailer in hand, we intend to write to everyone on this list daily with reports
of our adventures as we ride across America, and we hope to hear from you all
very often. you can email us at this address from now on. visits along the
route are always welcome, and feel free to join us on your bike for any length
of the route (I won't hold my breath on that happening!). if you'd like to be
taken off this list, let me know right away. in addition, I'll be sending
everyone out our cell phone number, and we'll set up a set time each day so
anyone can call us and chat. that's all for now, but much love to all and we

a few updates from the cyclists. to Felipe's friends who have not received

will be his new email address until further notice. we would love to hear from
you all while we are on our trip. Darren and Felipe have activated our new cell

have the phone on from 8pm to 9pm every evening beginning may22nd while we are
out on the road, so call us and chat everyone! if cellular coverage is

hello all. right not we're on our 8th hour of our 27 hour bus ride from LA to
Florence, Oregon. after cruisin in style through the ritzy and chic cities of
the San Joaquin valley; Tracy, Tulare, Pixley, and Los Banos to name a few, we
should be in San Fran shortly, and then its a mere 19 hours to our destination!
A word of advice for prospective travelers. don't be penny pinchers like felipe
and I and take one of dem flyin' machines. more to follow...just had to vent my restlessness....more
complaining to follow!
